About Office Equipment Services, Inc.

Office Equipment Services (OES) is a small, locally owned and operated company comprised of many former Xerox Corporation employees. Many of the our staff were trained with Xerox Corporation before joining OES. The experience OES employees gained while training with Xerox Corporation brings a higher than average standard of professionalism and responsiveness to customers from OES. We are actively engaged in supporting out community through hands-on participation while creating jobs within our community.

The company began servicing Xerox Corporation equipment in 1995. Originally located in Berkeley Springs, WV, OES moved to the Robert C. Byrd Industrial Park in Paw Paw, WV in 2002. A ribbon-cutting gala for the new plant was held in January 2003.

The company has received national acclaim for its Xerox rebuilding business. OES also gained national recognition with independent companies and sales and service organizations. In August 2007, OES reached an agreement with Berkeley Instruments, LLC in Berkeley Springs, WV to assist with research and development and manufacturing of their innovative inspection systems and sensors for the petroleum, power, and chemical industries. Service Technology in Atlanta, Georgia orders parts from OES. OES has also started doing businessand begun relationships with other companies. The business is "a work in progress", says Mr. Kelly Adams, OES General Manager.

The company continues to grow says president and owner Mr. Doug LeFever.They have foundnew customers by putting their products on E-Bay. "We have certainly made strides and grown", says Doug. People get a taste for their product and then call them directly. "We keep finding more and more customers that keep wantingto use us", says Doug.

OES has technicians who provide service and repair of many brands of copiers. Additionally, it offers an apprenticeship program for employees who wish to become service/repair technicians ensuring growth of the company's skilled employees and growth paths for employees.

With the installation of several color printers in January 2006, Office Equipment Services, Inc., began offering printing services. OES now offers some color printing as well as high-volume printing services.

Nationwide trucking of copiers is one of the biggest areas of growth for the company. All OES truck drivers have Commercial Driver's Licenses (CDLs). OES has delivered and picked up copiers as far south as Florida and Texas. Recently they had a truck in New York City picking up a copier in Times Square while another truck was in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania delivering a copier. All drivers and delivery helpers are OES employees from the local Paw Paw, WV area.

OES is a civic-minded company very concerned with sustaining and supporting its local community of Paw Paw, WV. OES strives to create jobs within the community and employ local talent.

OES is also actively engaged in service to its community through hands-on participation at the local Senior Center, Fire Department, and Town Council, among other areas of community life. One of our principles is a member of the Paw Paw Volunteer Fire Department and Town Council, in addition to being recognized as Volunteer of the Year recently.
